CUT & FOLD
Critic: John Eberhardt & Amir Shahrokhi
Yale School of Architecture | 2015
Working strictly with paper as a medium, this small scaled prototype was designed as a result of the feedback loop between physical and digital design. Each module can be repeated infinitely in two directions to create a field of faceted geometry woven together through a nested system. The modules can be manually configured to create variations in the opening sizes, providing a level of flexibility to the desired installation. A pop of color creates visual depth and interest as light filters through the apertures.
